What is an Oman Tourist Visa?
An Oman tourist visa allows foreign nationals to enter Oman for leisure, family visits, sightseeing, or short business trips. It is usually a short-term visa that can be single-entry or multiple-entry depending on the type you apply for.
Types of Oman Tourist Visas:-
Single-Entry Tourist Visa
· Valid for 30 days (extendable for another 30 days).
· Allows one entry into Oman.
Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa:-
· Valid for 1 year.
· Each stay can be up to 30 days per visit.
Visit Visa (Family/Friends Visit):-
· For visiting relatives or friends in Oman.
· Usually valid for 30 days, extendable.
Eligibility:-
1. Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
2. Clear travel purpose (tourism, visiting family/friends).
3. Return flight ticket.
4. Proof of accommodation (hotel booking / invitation from host).
5. Sufficient funds to cover stay.
How to Apply:-
· Online (preferred) – Apply through the official Royal Oman Police (ROP) e Visa portal.

· Fill in application form, upload documents, and pay visa fee online.
· Wait for approval (usually processed within 2–4 working days).
· Receive e Visa via email (print or keep soft copy to show at immigration).
Visa Fees: - Single-entry visa (30 days): OMR 5–20 (USD 13–52), Multiple-entry visa (1 year): OMR 50 (USD 130).
